I hope so too. I believe the reason FwPA stopped scanlating was because the translator gave up on it. (NOT LIKE I CAN READ ANYTHING WITHOUT FURIGANA EITHER. CAN’T BLAME THEM.)
re: himaruya
so for those interested, yesterday i talked to my doujinshi artist buddy who has a friend that works at the publishing company that deals with himaruya. he’s still alive and sort of well, it seems. he apparently stopped updating his blog to focus work on the magazine, but my friend said that his company may force him to work on the blog again sometime soon because he’s losing fans. however, she also speculated that he may have stopped because he needs a mental break, especially after the halloween event, so i’m not sure him being forced back would do anyone any favors.
regardless, himaruya is alive and (sort of, apparently) well. this is all information from a third party, obviously, so it should be taken with a grain of salt, but i thought people would still want to know.
edit: also, this should be obvious, but please don’t contact his publisher being like YOU MONSTERS. this is simply what i heard from my friend, and if it is true, then what’s going on is a super normal case by japanese publishing standards.
